This isn't bad. There's something about their overall sound that really ticks my boxes. Good stuff.

These guys have gradually disappointed me more and more with each release.

"Alive or Just Breathing" was just an awesome album. Totally classic metal album, and everything since has just been sub par, or hideously boring.

Aye. Bang on.

I think they took a massive nosedive then they replaced Jesse with Howard. I'm not saying Jesse's a better vocalist than Howard or anything (because that's a lame arguement) but... I dunno. They lost something.

I agree.
Although every time a band release a new album these days to try avoid disapointment in the way i don't approach it as the same band because it is unlikely they will be able to live up to what you thought of their best release, in this case, Alive or Just Breathing or The End of Heartache, Seriously will they ever out do Rose of Sharyn or The Element of One (Just my favourites). Although i was very impressed with As Daylight Dies, There is no way it has cemented itself in metal for years to come even though which are probably the most influential bands on the scene.

Overall the song is good, but if this is what the rest of the album is like - then i doubt I'm going to like it. But i'm optimistic, i'm sure it will be awesome

I don't think the down point was when they switched vocalists. If you know Blood has been shed (Howard and Drummer's previous band) then you'll know musically they were pretty good and heavy as fuck. Somehow that same class has never been recaptured on any KSE record. This is all a labels doing.

They cemented themselves in metal with Alive or Just Breathing dude! The music Killswitch plays is pretty out of date now, but somehow they still seem to pull it off with every release, they must that kind of special nack!

Killswitch is at their prime if you have ever seen them live, they put on an amazing show, especially if Adam is there, I have seen them 5 times, and once they were missing Adam, and the show was mediocre. Adam makes their live show amazing!
