10 Easy Wishes @ TBreak next Sunday (support required!)

Hello everyone, some of you may have noticed that we managed to finally get to the TBreak heats this year and we are playing King Tuts on Sunday the 11th of May. It would be very nice if you could tell any of your friends or if you indeed live in Glasgow to come and see us so we have some sort of support there to help us out! We have lots of tickets we can give away for free so if you want to come down (which we would love) then you get in for free. Let us know on our myspace! Apparently it helps if people seem to enjoy your set at these heats (in order to get through to t-in-the-park) and because this is unlikely as it sounds it would be pretty cool if people instead pretended to enjoy our set.

Alkaline, do you have any idea how long that amp will take to fix? I really hope it doesn't cost a million pounds to repair

Even if you don't get a huge crowd you should be fine if you play a blinder. When I went to see PVH at the heats a while back they only had a supporting crew of about 3 (me, maxi and adam) but they played a storming set and got through with ease.

I think it's really pot luck and it depends what sort of line up you're against. Good luck!

I suspect some of the acts going through have already been decided but all slots aren't yet determined. Good luck to 10EW, Little Kicks and Static in the City (playing tonight at Liquid Rooms).

Usually a very small amount of slots are pre-decided but most bands are still very much going against each other for a slot on the bill.

I think a lot of it depends on who you know, but i reckon there are definately a good percentage of places are open to teh vote. Saying that, Galchen didn't even enter Tbreak...

Back in the day... Vic Galloway asked us if we wanted to play tbreak. As he's one of the judges he seems to have the power to just put bands on the bill. So yeah, I'd definately agree with the statement above.
