Default Young Bands in Aberdeen

Does anyone have any suggestions for where i could get in contact with young bands in Aberdeen?

Ive been struggling to fill up the bill for an event im running up there, although ive been assured that there is a huge scene for young bands...

Cheers

Put up a post on the Networking section of this site. Thats always a decent bet. Where are you trying to organise a night for anyway?

Hiring a 15 year-old drummer in order to bring your band's average age down to 25 is not a well-regarded method of qualifying one's band as "young".

They may well sell a few tickets, though.

I suggest that you might contact Foyer in Aberdeen. They provide rehearsal and recording facilities for bands, predominately in the 14 to 25 age group. though most are of school age. They also put on gigs for the bands.

Their site is Foyerlive

Contact names are Dave Stewart and Steve Buchan.

PM me if would like some contact details for individual young bands.
