It was really a great gig, the only grumble from me was that I was stuck right at the very very back of the hall beside the bar and the sound quality there was atrocious, which spoiled it for me.

Aberdeen music was very well represented by the way! I spotted a lot of familiar faces.

I got in around doors open and went straight in & stood on the first raised platform area - was leaning on the banister there dead centre of stage. perfect view.

I was at the bar getting the beers when he came on stage and by the time the barman had finished spilling my beer all over himself and managed to count out my change the entire hall had pushed forward leaving me stranded at the back.

I didn't see either of you cos I don't know who you are, unless you were one of the two guys with mullets at the bar headbanging. I did however spot Ash and Michelle off of Retro Rebels, Sharon off of Drakes, Jonny Lucifer, and Jamesbroonbreed with some of the other members of the Maternal Bum Bond Connexion.

Fucking brilliant.

I just noticed you missed out "Deanna". That was probably the most disappointing song of the night, as Nick completely fluffed his lines. It was still great to hear an approximation of it live, though. I can also die happy knowing that I've seen them do "Papa Won't Leave You Henry", and did it even better than the version on "Live Seeds". I wonder if that bloke got his coat back...
