Default JD unsigned demos and competition
Hey this relates to a gig that happened on November 29th 2007, had problems on here getting it posted, but you can still enter your demo to be in with a chance of winning. The night was just primarily a gig to hear the bands all together. So don't be put off to put your band forward

JD Set Unsigned

JD SET UNSIGNED

BECOME THE #1 ROCK BAND IN YOUR UNIVERSITY WITH JACK DANIEL'S



This November, The JD Set Unsigned will arrive at Union ,Aberdeen
University Students Union on 29th November, 8.00pm searching for the
most talented student bands to take part in a one-off Battle of the
Bands style event. Budding rock stars will fight it out for the
chance to win a covetable recording session courtesy of Jack Daniel's
at a night that will be unmissable for all music fans.



The JD Set Unsigned will offer university bands brimming with talent a
chance to shine, and to showcase their musical prowess both to their
fan base AND to a select panel of judges who will critique their
performance. The winning band will take their place in the rock &
roll list of honours at Aberdeen University and will win a day in a
recording studio. They will also be entered into the nationwide JD Set
Unsigned* competition taking place in London, February 2008.



Jack Daniel's have already started the hunt for bands to take part in
the event. To enter your band, please contact Victoria Torrens at
abdn.jd.rep@googlemail.com. The judges will be looking not only for
raw talent and a passion for music but also proof that each band has
the star power needed by pulling in as many fans as possible. Crowd
reaction will play a role in influencing the vote on the night.





The JD Set Unsigned is only open to university bands or bands that
include at least one university student. It could be your chance to
get up there and make like a rock star so sign up now and help turn
the 29th November into a night to remember forever.



Subject to availability, guests on the night who purchase two Jack
Daniel's drinks can redeem a harmonica courtesy of JD.
