Explosions In The Sky axe summer dates

A family illness means they won't be back until September

Explosions In The Sky have cancelled their entire summer touring schedule due to a family illness.

The band have axed all shows up to September 1, and the UK dates which are affected by this are:

All Tomorrow's Parties Festival (May 19)
London Royal Festival Hall (July 10)
Manchester Academy (11)
Brighton Concorde (12)
Latitude Festival (13)
Indian Summer Festival (14)

A statement said the band was "extremely sorry for any inconvenience this causes, and will attempt to re-schedule as many dates as possible as soon as possible. Thanks for your support & understanding".

They were one of the bands i was going to Indian Summer for though i've still got Midlake and Wheat to look forward to.

I wasn't going to any of the above dates but was gutted after they cancelled the glasgow show.

I hope the October date doesn't get cancelled

Ah man it feels like I've been punched in the face 3 times now.....first Glasgow gig....then ATP...now Indian Summer. Guess these things happen

Can't wait for ATP the line-up is awesome!

I'm not going ot bother with Indian Summer anymore.

Other than Explosions, the line-up is pretty half-assed.
