For a chance to win a pair of VIP tickets to a Road to RockNess gig of your choice all you have to do is add the RockNess myspace site to your top 8 friends and answer the following question:

Tell us which record label The 1990s are signed to?

Answers should be emailed to:
info@rockness.co.uk along with the address of your myspace page (remember, your entry won't count unless the RockNess myspace site is added to your top 8 friends). Entrants need to state their preferred gig location.

Your prize will include:
One pair of VIP tickets to a Road to RockNess gig of your choice (meet the band, signed goodies plus hotel and transport) as well as one pair of weekend camping tickets to the RockNess Festival itself on 9th and 10th June

Anyone have any ideas as to who may be filling up the TBA slots on the Main Stage on the Sunday. I'm going to see The Manics but it would be nice if there was someone else on the Sunday I wanted to see.

The 1990's are listed in my top 5, "worst bands I've ever had the misfortune to see". *shudder*

Awful.

Ill stick up for 1990s and say "i like them"

Saw them support CSS and enjoyed it, thought they just wanted to have fun, good lyrical turn - they make me laugh and nod my head!

They remind me of Johnathan Richman and the Modern Lovers... But without the tunes.

I don't know who that is but I think the 1990's have some great tunes. I like their style and lyrics.

Please take that comparison back. Jonathan Richman is good, they aren't.

If you have seen 'There's Something About Mary' Jonathan Richman is the guy doing the songs who pops up throughout the film. He has an ongoing solo career but was in a band called The Modern Lovers in the early 70's who reconvened in the later 70's. Their self-titled album is well worth getting.
