Nah my mates went to play with them and as soon as they got there, the guy opened the door with a basket and just said; '60 quid right now, or your not playing'. They hadn't sold 60 quid in tickets so they walked offrefusing to pay the extra.

Of course they advertise on myspace, how else would they find young naive bands to take advantage of?

good piont, thats a bit shit... i dont have a problem with bands being asked if they want to sell tickets or anything, but aslong as they get payed regardless.

Aye, i dont mind selling tickets if we are playing an RFR or DF gig because you are supporting a top quality act. When it comes to 4 bands that nobody ahs ever heard, i cant be assed shifting tickets.

Another one of my college mates said when they played a twisted ape gig, they played with a band of 12 year olds who sold 1 ticket.
