Default Jeff Buckley @ 40

Today marks what would have been Jeff Buckley's 40th birthday.

Grace is a classic album which will stand the test of time and My Sweetheart the Drunk was shaping up to be something truly special.

Do you think Jeff would continue to release such amazing music time after time if he was still alive?

Happy Birthday Jeff!

I'd like to think he'd have made a few more absolutely amazing albums..it's a shame we'll never know.

His own tastes were pretty diverse, so I reckon he would've explored a lot of different directions, maybe with varying degrees of success.

Agreed. I could see him following a Tom Waits kinda career path, just doing what he wanted and producing quite different albums that some people love and some find more difficult to get into. There wouldn't be many folks that would like his entire catalogue, but most people would love a particular 'period'.
