anyone know any good websites for whoring out the kartta myspace? anyone gotten lots of responses after posting on a particular forum or anything?

i'd just advise adding as many friends as you can

one good way to do it is search the word aberdeen and then do glasgow and things like hat, time consuming, but it works.

that sounds about right, it makes sense if you want to reach more people, people aren't going to flock to your site, or find it that easily, (unless you're something really special) what ewith there being SO MANY bands on mysapce!!

ywah, i added over 1000 people in one weekend when we first set up the mdp myspace... kinda gave up though as its boring as hell

My best advice is to get the unsigned guide and lock yourself in a room for a good year searching through the mounds of contacts. It's the most comprehensive database for musicians out there in my opinion.

www.garageband.com is quite good actually. Before you can put up your own music, you must review a certain amount of other peoples songs first. Therefore you're guaranteed to get a response to your material.

If your band is influenced by a certain band you could try pimping your songs on the forums. I certainly post Element tunes on Devin Townsends websites and have had good feedback.

So if your band has some influences, maybe post up tunes to people who like similar music.

Sorry if that is shite advice man
