Hi all. A bit scared. Everyone seems to be part of a band on these forums. I'm sure there are other solo artists though.

My name's Amir Sherhan and i'm from Inverurie ('bout 16 miles out of Aberdeen). I've recently started recording songs and stuff that i've written and i'd love for anyone and everyone to have a listen at www.myspace.com/amirsherhan.

That's really rather nice, I like it. There are quite a few solo people around, most of them very nice people. If you can I reckon you should nip along to an Open Mic night or two, maybe the Tunnels, Cellar 35 or Drummonds?

Thanks very much. Yeah I was thinking about Open Mic nights fairly soon. We'll see. JBC Promotions have just got in contact anyway though so my first gig hopefully won't be a million miles away. Fingers crossed.
