Steal Vybe - Mirage EP – (Large)
Chris 'Cee Rule' Foreman and Damon Bennett have been tearing up the charts with their soulful and eclectic sound known as Steal Vybe. Renowned labels such as West End, Z Records, and Swing City all released hit records from them in 2005 and Large Music is pleased to begin the New Year with a fantastic outing from this up and coming duo. The Mirage ep is a perfect example of the hybrid blend of Jersey Soul and Chicago House that Large Music has exposed over the last 12 years. The title track is a deep, techy, spoken-word tribute to the first perfect underground experience; Umba Dae follows with filtered beats and a dirty, driving bass line. Born in Aruba completes the set with lush keys and tropical rhythms.
