Thumb Down horrible melodies?
are there any that you just can't stand, you know....some that really cause bleeding to your eardrums?
like, technically sound piece of songwriting....just that awful melody?

at the moment, it's The Automatics' "Monster" for me. and Hard-Fis' "Cash Machine".
i don't know what it is...i just can't stand them.

Christ, theres a fad of what i would describe as 'miaow miaow' melodies at the moment, mainly 'The Boy Least Likely To...' and their song 'Be Gentle With Me'. Grrrrrrrrr

There are others that fit into that category too, though i can't off-hand remember any right now

I actually quite like that Automatic melody.

Totally agree with you on Hard Fi though

American Idiot is getting on my tits a bit now, totally overplayed this year.
