Default Howard Goodall's 20th century greats
anyone else ever watched this? it's on at 11 on channel 4 every morning. brilliant series about the greatest songwriters and composers from the last century examining their musical techniques and tricks. the great thing is though that it's presented so even if you have only a basic understanding of music you can understand what howard goodall is talking about. today's is on cole porter and hugely interesting it is too.

It is indeed a fantastic programme. The Beatles episode was particularly interesting.
