Default Aberdeen Jazz festival.

I cant wait, Im gonna be checking out Polar bear, cathie rae, Jazz review, Gary gibbs, Tommy smith. Its the first time Ive been able to attend any jazz festival gigs, I was working offshore the last time. I usually go down to edinburgh and glasgow they have a great jazz/funk scene down there but it's great aberdeen is catching up..

Which ones are you guys checking out?

Polar Bear definitely, missed them last time. Probably some of The Tunnels gigs just to see how jazz goes there.

I'll no doubt be up for a few days, if only just to see Greame Stephen.

Someone showed me a Wayne Krantz cd not long ago. I remember thinking he was amazing + v. aggressive style of playing (which I love).
