or chavs? I can't work out whether i should be allowed to like this band. does it really matter? what is punk?

They certainly ain't "non-educated delinquents" so not Neds. Preston is generally an intelligent young man i'd say. But they do usually look naff.

I heard "Boys Will Be Boys" on the radio the other day, and I greeted it with a shrug of the shoulders. Then it was used on Shameless to soundtrack Lip and Ian getting ready for a night out, and it sounded thrilling

image can be deceiving, eh?
though i'd be inclined to agree that they look like they come from the chelsea suburbs or somewhere.
but i think they are more early blur like (take away the occasional trumpet)
