Default First Impressions of The Strokes First Impressions of Earth

Man this album is pretty damn good. Favourite songs so far are Juicebox, Razorblade and You Only Live Once. Not sure if it is good as the first two, I'm waiting for it to "settle"

The first album's a classic, it would be very hard to improve on that. The second one was a pale shadow of it, most of it was just a dirge with only a couple of decent tunes shining through. The new one is much more dynamic, a much more interesting listen, although I'm still not convinced they'yre fulfilling their potential.

I think this album is amazing, i know Room On Fire wasn't embrased as mush as the the first album but in my opinion all three are fantastic...

I cant wait to see them live and see how the new songs fair up, roll on Edinburgh.. x

I've been not that impressed by the new album at all to be honest... Sounds like they're trying to be Guided by Voices or something. And they are shit live.
