Default Your favourite Bob Dylan Song covered by another artist and Why

To run in tandem with this thread - Your favourite Bob Dylan Song and Why

Ok, what's your favourite Dylan song performed by another artist and why?

I'm going for "Blowin' In The Wind" by Neil Young & Crazy Horse off of the "Weld" live album. Harmonies & feedback - what more could you ask for? Perfectly sums up both Young's Music & Dylan's Lyrics in my mind.

My Back Pages by The Byrds for me.

All of those Byrds covers sounded great with the harmonies and the Rickenbacker. I was a bit surprised to see Bob himself sort of slag them off in the documentary.

"I Shall Be Released" by The Band. It's purely majestic, Richard Manuel's choirboy falsetto at it's purest. It's my "funeral song" as well...

Special mention to "Dusty Old Fairgrounds" by Blue Ash as well. I think Dylan only ever played the song once then discarded it, but these guys, for whatever reason, got hold of it and turned it into a garage metal gem.

13th Floor Elevators - Baby Blue (they shortened the title). Great guitars and a whole different take on the original which doesn't destroy it.

No, it's the version from "Music From Big Pink". The Last Waltz version was painful, Manuel's voice had gone completely by that point, and everyone on stage was trying to out-sing each other in the chorus.

PJ Harvey's version of 'Shot Of Love' is great.

Hole also have a version of 'It's All Over Now, Baby Blue' which is quite good.
