During the recording of Sunday's Top of the Pops, Mr. Bacon introduced rising AOR-smiths The Magic Numbers by saying "What do you get when you put two brothers and sisters in a band? A big fat meting pot", to which the bearded ugmos retorted by storming off and not playing.

Now, DiS isn't one to judge but quite frankly, if you're going on TOTP and Richard Bacon is there, you're not exactly going to be introduced as "the saviours of west-coast yawn-pop" or anything similar are you?

So, once again Mr. Bacon, we salute you."

Good stuff Mr Bacon, i absolutely hate the magic numbers. They all look like Kevin Smith, even the 'women'. Oh, and their music is gash too.

peel used to rag bands on a fun, subtle level, this twat bacon is a coke fueled twat.
a bit off slagging off a band like that, fair doo's, if you don't like their music, slag that off, but just calling them fat (nothing to do with the music, style or sort of band they are), is fucking shite.
