I think they're alright. Wouldn't call them the saviours of metal. Then again, there isn't many metal bands that do it for me nowadays. Not saying that Trivium do. Just there isn't much competition.

I like them, i just hate the way the popular Metal press jump on a band and announce there the next great thing.

I find the approach of spoon feeding people bands makes me not want to like a band

I have some tracks, and they're ok. Many other bands catch my attention more although I suppose I do like some of their stuff. I agree though, saviours of metal? What?

They aren't anything special. You can hear that the guy has a decent voice on the chorus of 'Pull harder..' but choses just to shout which sucks. I might actually listen to them if there was less screaming.

To be honest I'm not sure. The Haunted are ace. But so are many other bands that coud be considered the saviours I suppose. I'd think Perhaps Lamb Of God at the moment; they're really becoming very well known, write catchy yet technical songs and work hard.

Perhaps the ultimate, Children Of Bodom. Although their older stuff is far more Metal in it's pure form than new stuff.

The Haunted have sloped on 'Revolver', it's not a patch on 'Made Me Do It'. So I wouldn't say they're the saviours. KsE would have had my vote if 'The End Of...' had a little more balls and retained the same raw edge as 'Alive...'.

Hard one.
