Well Morrissey is the exception. John Squire and Ian Brown make a mockery of Stone Roses songs.

the smiths songs sit well amongst the new songs and stuff from his solo back catalogue, its a decent mix of songs.

I saw him on this most recent tour and i felt that The Smiths songs he had added to the set really really added to the gig... especially Last night i dreamt that somebody loved me. Bona stuff!
