It's...OK...nothing startling. More of a shift back towards their early sound than a progression from the last album. If I wanted to use the Jesus And Mary Chain comparisons, I would say that while the first album had shades of 'Darklands' era JAMC, this one reminded me of 'Honey's Dead' times.
