I was expecting it to be a big pile of arse to be honest, and was pleasantly surprised. To me, it sounds like Aladdin Sane era Bowie crossed with early U2. The Springsteen comparisons don't fit to me now I've heard the entire record.

Two 'Family Battle Snake' cd-rs as a trade for an Asahara tape, fucking great psych noise, highly recomended to anyone who likes that kind of thing.
