Default Mexico rocking out in the capitol

Perth (???) duo Mexico recently played a very good free show at Edinburgh's Whistlebinkies. they are one of the few bands who are unhinged by music trends and fashion, instead just geting on with playing while having a whole lot of fun. they played covers at the end of the gig, with particularly good versions of Fake Plastic Trees, Killing In The Name and Sunburn. they are funny as hell too. a drunk woman was making a courtney love impression on the dance floor, so Gary (vocalist) kept on playing but said something along the line of "Let's have a shit dancing competition. Guess who wins?". the fool of a woman quickly retreated to the safety of her herd. check these guys out people

ive heard some songs and they are a very good band.
tried to set a gig for them to play but things fell through.
Hopefully they will make a return.
