most fowk will prob recognise the name of these 90s "britpop" stars who charted a few times
Dug out "Slaine" or "slain" earlier today man, this album is pop rock scuzz at its very very best what a band you can see where kapranos, sons and co got some ideas from i think urusei just werent as polished as FF, S&D etc |

that's a great album. and the 'plastic ashtray' single was lovely. but they weren't as good or as underrated as fellow glaswegians baby chaos.

i caught project A-Ko a while back which has fergus, a couple of others, and the guy who is in empire builder.
they are pretty damn nifty, like urusei but has an early smashing pumpkins vobe to it rather enjoyable *reminded to hassle them about a gig i listen to urusei regularly and i heard little snippets of franzy type stuff. FF are alright, although i cannae tolerate them daily, i dance only once a week ![]() |
