I think it's amazing that they need 3 men to do the job of one man, they'll probably have no passion for the more "obscure" music, and they'll just drop in some bluegrass or austrian fleedlebooger music for a token "nod" to peel.

I hope it is a good show, but I can't see that they'd be as diverse as peel.

qzdiablo , that's exactly what I said when I read "rob da bank"....

I note that all 3 DJs are still carrying on with their "other" shows. All Radio 1 needs to do is install unpredictability, unknown music and fun into their specialist night time shows. Installing 3 seperate Djs sounds like segmenting the music to me. I hope it works out and we dont get too sentimental about Peelie in the sky...

rob da bank may have an awful name, but his voice is alright to listen to, and that's the main thing here isn't it?! (a bit like giles peterson i thought)
