Stemming from Aberdeen, The X-Certs have wowed audiences with their live shows for the past four years, and the release of their EP has established them as a core of the North East music scene. With influences stemming from the likes of Biffy and The Ataris they meld the kind of nostalgic neo-scot rock that wins fans in seconds.

The Lucida Console - a 5-piece from Leeds - have attracted admirers nationwide after a showcase at Manchester's In The City Conference. The blend of emo-driven mess and harmonic guitars, coupled with a rock-solid bass and drum backing give the band more than the edge over your run of the mill Emo bands that have seen them support the likes of Aereogramme.

Flight-19: Guaranteed to not disappoint with their pop-punk sensibilities and a rhythm section so tight you couldn’t fit a Rizla paper through them.

Reasons Are Red: With influences stemming from Les Savy Fav and Shellac, the three-piece have impressed Aberdeen crowds after only two shows, and their shenanigans with maracas!

The Upstarts: Returning after a lengthy break from live gigging, the 4-piece combine pop-punk-driven melodies with ska-influences that make this band an uplifting alternative to the norm.

Irrelevant: Blending fantastic hardcore influences with funk tendencies, Irrelevant’s songs move from strength to strength while keeping the audience guessing.

DB-68: An epic pop-punk quintet from Glasgow, and probably the only in their genre that can boast a Moog player in their midst!
