This was announced by a local radio station but the festival organisers have not confirmed or denied the claims.

Festival in the US. Muse stormed it last year and it was the first date I think on the Pixies re-formation tour.

Widely regarded along with Fuji Rock as the best festival inthe world at present.

It also has had fingers pointed in that it has pretty much wiped out Lollapalooza.

Arguably causing the Addiction to split.

It had a massive 2 page article in the NME and Kerrang last year.

Sheesh...... Don't you guys keep up?

Also in most of the monthlies and on teletext and every other decent reviewing outlet.

For a lot of UK residents went across last year...

I know 5 people that went from Aberdeen.

Apparently you can't mention the word "festival" around them as nothing is as cool as Cochella... Even though they wanted it to rain so badly due to the 50C temperatures.

One of them is Ginger and got burnt to a crisp at The Pixies... although apparently it was worth it.
