Default Tyranosaurus Hives

Awesome. The Hives were always years ahead of the garage rock pack, this record cements the reputation.

I have read in a science magazine that people who dislike the Hives have no soul.

it is indeed a mighty fine album. oozing fun and righteous rock. many moments made me smile like big smiling goon.

I tend to find that modern garage rock bands tend to fall into two categories: a) They rip off The Stooges, or b) they rip off The MC5. The Hives don't really do either.

I plan on buying it this or next weekend. The Hives are brilliant, and excellent live, easily the best live band on the Saturday at this years Download festival

They rip off the Sonics something rotten, though. There's a fair amount of New York Dolls in there as well. And I'm pretty sure "Walk Idiot Walk" owes a massive debt to "All Day And All Of The Night".
