Television ARE on tour just now (Lach, who played the Lemon Tree & Music Hall recently is supporting.....the drummer is also in his band).

But perhaps this is a reference to tonight's big match (Come on Portugal!).

steven(our singer/bassist) went over to dublin to see television as lach offered to put him on the guestlist. if he fucking meets and talks to tom verlaine we will never hear the end of it...

They played the arches in Glasgow. It was sublime.

There was no support, I stood in the oh so hotness for 2 hours before they appeared. They are old and demented and lovely. The guitar wanking got a bit tiresome though, also they don't look like they like each other all that much, they have all the stage presence of a shrivelled toad, oddly enough, that didn't seem to matter at all.
