Elvin Jones, legendary drummer for Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Duke Ellington and Charlie Parker sadly slid off the plate yesterday.

Sad news, but what a contribution he's made to the world of music. Along with Art Blakey, Elvin Jones is my favourite jazz drummer.
