Double Jack last night... - aberdeen-music

Anyone catch Double Jack's set at the Tilted Wig last night? (Saturday 1st May) Fucking. Ace! One of the best local gigs I've ever been to.

They played something in the region of a 3 hour set! - now thats Dream Theater terrority - a lot of their own material and some kick ass covers. Del did some insane 5 minute drum solo, Bob's solo's were top notch as ever and they were jamming up on top of the bar! Rock 'n' Roll! Damn I need a wireless system for my guitar. Was a great atmosphere too, very friendly and relaxed.

In my opinion, this band doesn't get half the recognition they deserve ...lovely bunch o' lads.

yeah that gig did kick ass, well done guys. we also got more people to join the Bob Crowe fan club

members are: Myself, Dayeth, Bob Crowe, Del Wilson (D.J Drummer) and Fraser Moonie (D.J Bassist)

(Morgan Adams declined a membership due to thinking that Bob's head was already to big)

oh yeah and cheers to Fraser for buying me and Dayeth a pint \m/

That sounded great. I ain't seen Double Jack since the Hi-On Maiden gig? Any upcoming gigs?

I'll field this one...

They are supporting Ex-Rainbow guy Graham Bonnet at Drummonds a week tomorrow (monday). Should be ace.

I think there is a gig that Friday aswell.

Bah, I want to see them as well, but there's no way I can afford it, not with Jetplane Landing tomorrow night, King Adora (not that i'm going to see them, but bah) night after, and Deadloss in a week

Please note gig on 14th @ Billy Bundys has been cancelled. 10th MAy with Graham Bonnet is still on though.
