Heartily recommended to any fan of Rock, Blues, Country or Metal. (Or all of the above)

Very much similar to Zakk's "Book of Shadows" album, emphasis on piano and acoustic, with rockin' heavy solos. Think Elton John, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Alice in Chains all jamming together. Awesome.

Anyone else got it?

Yup! I got it on Monday...Its brilliant, very relaxing. I dont like the cover he does...is it "A Whiter Shade of Pale"..but the rest is fairly "happenin'" I love "Queen of Sorrow".

I have it but have yet to listen to it sadly. Not sure where it is in the flat and I've got Amen's new album, the Bonesaw EP and the Donside records ones to listen to as well. Futurama boxsets reduced in Asda though so I'm watching them the noo

zakks very good at the quiet stuff, considering the kind of guitarist he is, and the kind of music he's become renowned for.

Just bought the album today. I must say given the fact that "Book Of Shadows" is one of my favourite albums I'm quite happy he's gone back to doing the mellower stuff. I love BLS's heavy stuff too though, every album is great in its own way but I reckon "Sonic Brew" is the one I like best.
