Default Ulver - "pedition city" / Arcturus - "sham mirrors" ?
Anyone familiar with these albums... cos although not my usual music taste they sound pretty interesting.

Any views appreciated.

Sham Mirrors is an ace album, its a strange album too.

Perdition City is absolutly amazing, its in my top 10 fave albums of all time. Ulver have a song called "Vowels" check that out too Mr Dan

Well, I reckon you would love Articus... got some Dan metal action in it. Ulver, mmm I dont know if you would like it. Its like dark ambience I suppose. If ya want a tape of some Ulver stuff I would happily make one up for ya.

I actually spoke to Dev on the Devy forum and he has Perdition City, he likes that kind of stuff

I need to listen to other stuff rather than bother Dev lol

thanks for the offer but I don't have a tape player thses days!

As far as Ulver goes - I reckon I'd love it or hate it...but not sure about the risk just yet.

Arcturus is a sure buy though... I didn't realise it had clean vocals, I just assumed it was black metal vocals (which I'm not always a fan of)

Have you got Lamb Of God's "as the palaces burn" (produced by Devy)

Some great metalcore
