Sky News website are reporting this story as well. They say: "The band are now working to meet a September deadline (for the album) and have ruled out working on other projects".

Still it was only reported yesterday that Noel took time off in the studio to join The Stands onstage at their London show. So can't see why one show in the summer would affect the deadline.

And if this story is true then why didn't they announce it before tickets went on sale. Tickets wouldn't have sold so fast had Oasis said they weren't playing.
