Drummonds has a semi-final of the battle of the bands with AKA the Fox, Tigerfin and Gauche. Free entry, first band on at 8.45, order of bands drawn at soundcheck.

i may just go to that drummonds one actually considering AKA the Fox put us out of the competition. But they did in such a nice way, that it would be unfair of me to hold a grudge.

Thanks for that info soundian

Oh yeah, so they did. No shame losing to the competition favourites though.

well, meanwhile over at Drakes Five Horse Johnson and Gold Cash Gold were truly ace, and I bought their CDs too.

Deadloss were their usual madcap best as well.

It made my heart go all tingly!

AKA the fox were excellent. Didn't think so highly of the other bands, myself. They weren't bad, but just didnt really grab me. Im pretty sure the rest of hte audience felt the same way.

Got an aka the fox cd from their pushy salesman
