this is the anniversary of kurt cobains death. so they keep playing nirvana. which all the old people at my work arent keen on so they keep moaning at me

It's nice to see that in remembering the dead you remember their downward spiral as opposed to the triumphs they had and lasting effects they left in the world. This doesn't just apply to this scenario.

yeah they were playing plenty of nirvana last night at exodus, sort of reminded me of the palace, although the rings don't really work that well on the small exodus dance floor

All things considered, I'd probaly have more respect for most bands I'm "supposed" to if they weren't shoved down my throat all the time. I can see how and why Nirvana were important, but between radio, TV and the press I think I've seen more than enough of them these past few days to last me a lifetime.
