Is anyone going/been? I wouldn't of mind seeing something local, too late now no time

I read a couple of bits about it in the Evening, but in their wisdom, after writing about the local films that were showing. they didn't actually give any details or where and when you might be able to see any of these films. Unfortunately it's almost finished now. Hopefully it will run again next year and maybe be advertised a bit better.

I heard a bit of the director Mark from One day removals being interviewed on the radio while getting a lift so couldn't really say shut up while I hear this...gutted it's not been done better, I would hvae defo gone for some local movies!

I went to 5 on Tuesday night, as Andy da Kipp was going to be doing an improv. set to some films as part of the festival, but I'm afraid when I found out he'd cancelled I left. Would've liked to have seen Tim Katerwaul's film on Sunday, but couldn't make that one.

The whole thing has been really, really badly marketed. It takes some doing to organise a film festival and not actually tell anyone until a week or two before it begins.

I hope it comes back next year as it's a nice idea and something different. There's obviously been a lot of money spent - it's just a shame that it's been promoted so poorly.
