I put Gavin and Stacy into the category of 'womans comedy'.

In other words, it's not offensive or slapstick enough for men.

I watched it for the first time last night. Some funny bits (that "magic" show and the diving) - but not many. Really is hit or miss.

I really like Gavin and Stacey. I think it's pretty funny and quite sweet. However, nothing much else that they've done has been that funny. Lesbian Vampire Killers was slightly funny in places but overall pretty poor and their TV series is pretty ropey laughs-wise (comes as across as a poor mans Mitchell and Webb).

I've never thought they were funny at all. I don't understand why they're on TV so much.

Their sketch show is balls. Watched it for the first time last night and laughed maybe once.

Then watched The Mitchel and Webb Look and was happy.
