Default Grindhouse showing at the Vue tonight

If you want to see it in it's vastly superior original format - with all the slow, clunky bits of the script cut out (and much better for it), and with all the fake trailers and 'lost reels' etc - it's showing at the Vue at 10.00. I highly recommend seeing it this way. Plus it's an Orange Wednesday

I was at this. Having seen both Planet Terror and Deathproof before... I support the view that they are much better in the Grindhouse format.

I didn't finish until 1:20am so I'm a bit on the tired side today...

Went to see the full thing when vue showed it last year. And aye, much better than the two seperately. Worth the ticket judt for the Thanksgiving trailer. Absolutely brilliant.

They cut the running times for both films down to about 80 minutes, so they both fly by, whereas the seperate releases, especially Death Proof, have some really overly-long borderline boring scenes as they had to pad them out to make them long enough for release.

Aye, clearly despite lacklustre interest, it was always going to be best released as a double feature. I was gutted when they got split in two, then hugely excited at getting to see it as the orginal thing.
