Default CAMRA City Pub of the Year 2008
On Saturday we heard that we had been awarded 'City Pub of the Year 2008' by the Aberdeenshire branch of CAMRA (campaign for real ale).

The overall winner for Aberdeenshire was The Marine Hotel in Stonehaven which is an excellent place and well worth checking out. They have a great selecti0on of beers in particular and the food is very good.

Previous winners of CPOTY include The Prince of Wales, Old Blackfriars, and Carriages.

This is the first time in anyones memory that The Moorings has won a CAMRA award.

Nice to see the marine win as well, heard very good things about it but never managed to get down there since it changed.
