Red Light Rippers Fri 15th AND Sat 16th September!!!
After the success of the Aberdeen visit at the end of their last tour, I can announce that Canadian band Red Light Rippers plan to return to us during their next tour in September.
The band also feature on the cover CD of this months Classic Rock magazine, available at your local newsagent: http://www.classicrockmagazine.com/ Ask anyone who was at the last gig and I reckon there's a good chance they'll tell you that this was the best band they've ever seen play The Moorings: http://www.myspace.com/redlightrippers Given the bands increasing status and exposure, not to mention the 170 happy punters that saw them last time round some extra crowd capacity was going to be requried for a return visit... but the band loved the venue so much that they came up with a cunning plan. Play TWO nights! So here's the deal: On Friday the 15th September AND Saturday 16th of September we have the Red Light Rippers back in The Moorings. And this time they want to do some live recording too!! And doubtless some people will even desire to see them twice. Both shows will feature different support acts. Friday 15th Estrella Supragod (Sweden) Red Light Rippers (Canada) Plus one other tbc... Saturday 16th Radio Lucifer Steranko Red Light Rippers Plus special mystery guests Should be a great gig.

There has been a slight line-up change, as Red Light Rippers are taking a touring support along with the on the Friday. So the line-ups now look like:

Here's a review of Red Light Rippers album from Classic Rock Magazine. They also appeared on the cover CD in July.
 Steranko's album got a similar 8/10 review in the same magazine last year. I'll try and dig it out.
