Eight important things I forgot to mention:
There is no hire charge for the room The promoter dictates the admission price (within reason) The bar does NOT take a cut of the ticket/door money There is no charge for the sound engineer There is no charge for PA or backline - even the cymbals are FOC Both bands and promoter benefit from cost price drinks all night We have cutting edge live recording facilites available The promoter is encouraged to DJ between bands.
