I can verify that it does make an excellent digestant. Have heard this claim made for other drinks but this stuff really works. Had a big evening meal last night then sipped a Nouvelle-Orleans Absinthe whilst watching the movie. Within 20 mins felt this big welling up inside me, and up popped this fast but explosive belch, followed by 2 more over the course of the next 10 minutes. Afterwards all the bloating feeling was gone.

Must remember this next time I eat an Indian meal! I'd class it right up there with digestive enzyme tablets.

wasnt too keen on drinking absinthe on friday but was forced into it. it doesnt taste as bad as i thought it would, managed to avoid getting totally wasted by knocking over my second glass with my chest whilst standing at the bar. such a waste but at least i remember getting home this time.
