Default This Saturday - not to be missed - Uzizi!

http://www.uzizi.net/

Uzizi are "an all original world beat alternative rock band from the USA" formed back in the early 80s.

I am REALLY looking forward to this! We booked them over a year ago on first hearing their latest CD. Only £3 door tax for 4 bands:

SATURDAY JULY 23rd @ The Moorings Bar, Aberdeen
- UZIZI (mad-cap rockers from the USA)
- PETE'S SAKE (awesome melodic punk rock from wales)
- I STAND ALONE (punk rock from scotland)
- FLUFFY & THE RAINBOW BUNNIES (keyboards & crazyness awaits...) http://www.myspace.com/petessake Doors 8pm :: £3

That would appear to be a rather large fretless 5-string eh? Nice!

Totally gutted that i missed uzizi but sludge and myself had to rock off for a birthday party. Caught some of the 2nd bands set but wasn't too impressed. FATRB can't break after one gig, it was fucking amazing. I'm most impressed at how free your minds are when it comes to music, AND i didn't expect the guitar riffs to be so catchy and rippin.

On a footnote my favourite beer in the world is now desperados! It's amazing.
