Its def. the easiest option & a good choice I am sure. I was speaking to one of the guys in RnBs and he said playing one of the reissue heads with it was amazing.

You should check out https://weberspeakerscom.secure.poww...eber/atten.htm just for interests sake. Mind you since you've had Deadenstero <sp?> at The Moorings you might have seen Craig with the older model? It was he who orignally pointed me to the site. Acctually uses a real speaker motor and has features like switchable impedence...gets me jazzed!

So whats the chances of the Ampeg? Then I'll be DYING to play The Moorings just for the equipment as well as the venue.

Both guitar cabs and Powerbrakes have arrived, and also the Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100W head. Ampeg gear is due Monday. No ETA on the Engel yet.

It's hasn't been switched on yet, and probably won't see any action until Saturday.

Interestingly the cab seems to have some kind of built in powerbrake. There's an attenuator dial on the back. This is on the speaker cab... not the amp.

I'd guess that was a horn attenuator, if it has a horn that'll be it.
