'Erich Zann'? That's a Lovecraft character/story isn't it?
Yes it is. It's from 'The Music of Erich Zann' written December 1921.
If you've come across an album called 'Astronomicon' by "Without Face" they did a song called 'The violin of Erich Zann' also.

Somehow, I didn't think anyone would see the significance of the name.

Thought i would slip it in, didn't think anyone would notice. Hardly goth, but they were the best band Aberdeen has ever had (IMHO)
I don't suppose you ever heard 'Nervous Choir', who later became 'The Ramjet Rubber Company'? ... Now they were by far the best Aberdeen band in my opinion - must remember to play them next time.

Didn't know about the song ... will have to try and find it.

Yes .. I now see you have a cthulhu icon too. It's not one of Lovecraft's better known stories, but I was obsessed with him for years, and think I've read just about everything he's written - so I recognised the name, although I can't remember how the story goes.
