ONTHEFLY

De-Fence Records is a DIY outfit releasing music by members and associates of the Fence Collective who write and produce electronic and experimental music. Headed up by label boss OnTheFly, expect live acts, DJ sets, collaborations & special guests, plus the usual fun & mischief that Fence always bring. Apart from running De-Fence, Falkirk-based OnTheFly currently plays drums for King Creosote, makes noises and creates remixes for various members of The Fence Collective, occasionally performs live (electronica / hip hop and experimental) and loves to DJ at any given opportunity.

VIVA STEREO

Viva Stereo were born in Glasgow with the view to making music that would encompass a full weekend’s ebbs and flows. Saturday nights are important to Viva Stereo but it comes with the Sunday soul searching (not to mention the grim reality of Monday morning and the working week) and the combination of these are what give the ‘stereo’ sound its dark edges.

DOWN THE TINY STEPS

Down the Tiny Steps are a Glasgow-based electro-folk-pop trio. That sounds cack, but they are not. They spend most of their time carving pop classics from the very tissue of their souls. Songwriter, Jonnie Common records 24hours a day, hooked up to a phantom powered saline drip. He has written over 250 songs and is prepared to admit that at least 10 of them might be pish.
