hello all

well that's the imp programme over for another year...many thanks again to all the artists, venues, customers and friends new and old we've met along the way - it's been fun!

we are currently working on a schedule for the first few months of next year and also trying to rearrange the caribou date from the lemon tree - needless to say we're all pretty gutted about the news, Isla was really picking things up.

I suppose this is the perfect opportunity to look back on the year and pick out personal highlights. Enjoyed pretty much everything, however...the Ivor Cutler night, Quack Quack, Dan Arborise, Viking Moses, Thee More Shallows, Found, Alela Diane, Francois & The Atlas Mountains, Boredoms, Black Affair, Pictish Trail and Adrian Crowley performances stood out for me as special ones (copyright Jose Mourinho)

That looks like an impresive list to me....am I allowed to be impressed?

Anyway I can't pick a favourite but one thing which will live with me forever is Jackie Leven's story about a lunch with Lady Di. Apparantly she flirted with him in that coy manner with which she was renowned for and the poor lad was so distressed he had to go home and.....er.......have a wank!
