will be a good one for sure. and an unexpectedly loud one.

King Creosote and James Yorkston are both currently in Pictish's 6 piece band.

I enjoyed Jo Foster's set at the Ivor Cutler night, too!

I'm excited by...Michel Gira, Damon & Naomi/Kurihara, Adrian Crowley and Fred Frith the mostest.

On a side note...Diane Cluck is playing at Collieston on Friday....strange that she wasn't snapped up for Aberdeen on the Thursday, when she's free, I think.(She's played with loads of well-known NYC antifolk types..Jeffrey Lewis etc)

I would go, but I'm playing at the Tunnels.

I will probably try and get along to Jennifer Gentle and Damon And Naomi, although the latter’s work is far less pleasing than their Galaxie 500 era.

I'd be interested in going to see Damon and Naomi...

I saw Galaxie 500 twice, and have seen Damon & Naomi twice...their 'new' stuff is different, but still works for me......especially with Kurihara!!

The first time was at some Uni Union in Glasgow...(Glagow Tech?), and Damon was nearly totalled when a cabinet fell off a stack above his head.

(He didn't know that things would get even worse for him 13 years later when I ended up on stage beside him playing hand cymbals.)

i once had a dream about galaxie 500..

they played at my birthday party, but then my birthday party was attacked by terrorists.. and me and dean wareham had to go and hide under my parents' bed.
